From a technical standpoint they definitely don’t offer any objective advantage. However I still love using them personally. There’s just something satisfying about folding your phone. Also the built-in screen protection.
I think they have to be way thinner when they are folded. Having a device that is essentially twice the thickness of a regular phone doesn’t seem comfortable.
Still can’t really see the appeal for these kind of phones, at least with the fold you can have a small tablet at your convenience.
Love the tech, but personally i’m not really convinced.
The appeal is they actually fit in women’s pants pockets now
