Hi!

I’m a German writer of feel-good fantasy and (sometimes) SF. I write dragons, wolf shifters, aliens and powerful magic users - mostly in English, but I do have a few German books out, as well.

Here in this community, I invite you to share thoughts, images (we’ll see how well that works) and reviews about books you love.

Naturally, I’ll talk about my books. Once in a while, I’ll ask if you want to get involved in naming characters and/or give them some characteristics.

And well… I’ll give away books for new releases, as well as Advance Reader Copies for reviews.

Find out about my books on my home page: https://www.hannah-steenbock.de/

Hello! It’s nice to have you on the server. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump lately due to ADHD but hopefully it’ll be easier for me once I get my new meds. When I get it together I’ll read either Franssisi or Winds first.

Thanks for looking in. Good luck with the meds!

Franssisi has quite a few steamy scenes (I sometimes try that, only to realize it’s not really my thing…). At least that one is finished. 😀

The Winds don’t, but I also haven’t quite finished the series yet. Books are mostly standalone (Earth Splits is not, exactly), but there is an underlying arc that’s best understood by reading in series.

Not sure where to put this, but I just found a wonderful new review for one of my books on Amazon.

"This was beautiful. And thrilling. It keeps you on your toes because you just HAVE to know how the story goes on. You’ll probably fall in love with the main character. I know I did.

I particularly liked that it wasn’t romance heavy but very emotional. You really got to feel for all the characters, even those who are antagonists. It shows what grief can do to people and ultimately that love can overcome nearly everything."

I’m building a larger foothold in the Fediverse - just uploaded my first ever video to MakerTube.

It’s the first of five fairly short videos I made pretty much exactly three years ago, of me reading one of my reader magnet short stories. Prince Elsen’s ride is a quick adventure for a much repressed prince, his dragonrider friend Gerrik and the dragon Fingin. I’ll post the other videos soon.
